1. Daily Vital Signs Log

Record your senior horse's vitals at rest. Take readings before exercise or feeding for consistency.

Normal adult horse resting ranges: Temperature 99–101°F · Pulse 28–44 bpm · Respiration 8–16 breaths/min · Capillary refill time (CRT) under 2 seconds · Mucous membranes moist and pink · Gut sounds present in all four quadrants.
